    Great place to take the dog for a run when the tide is out. Beautiful view of the ocean

    Beautiful, very vast (especially at low tide), not very busy sandy beach with wonderful, safe and shallow sandy bottom all the way even at low tide. Nice small to medium crashing waves (even more during rising tide). Water is cold but very clean and clear. Shallow pools of warmer water are left on the beach at low tide and are ideal for small children to play in. Beach is so vast and not busy that it is ideal to play beach games like frisbee, or to take long walks or jog.

    Best beach in SW Nova Scotia, sand for days and nice dunes. Very shallow water with big waves!
